JENIEZA ALSTON

Jenieza Alston has over a decade of experience in the Financial Services Industry. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. She earned her MBA in Finance from Regent University. She was an accountant for a multinational company before she joined Waddell & Reed as a Financial Advisor in 2008. Waddell & Reed was acquired by LPL Financial in 2021.

She strives to motivate and inspire her clients to pursue their financial goals. Her focus includes Financial Planning, Wealth Management, Wealth Transfer, Investment Strategies, Tax Strategies, Insurance Planning, Business Succession, Asset Protection, and Capital Preservation.

As a female advisor in a male-dominated industry, she focuses on holding herself to a standard of excellence and making a difference in the lives of her clients. Her mission is to educate and empower her clients regarding their finances. Jenieza has spoken about Finances and Retirement in different venues and events. She hosts periodic Financial Education Briefings/Seminars at no cost (RSVP and registration required).

She served as the Community Outreach Director of the Financial Planning Association of Hampton Roads for 5 years. She also supports the Financial Empowerment program of the City of Virginia Beach. She is happily married to Ervin and has two children. She and her husband are part of a local community church where Ervin serves as one of the worship leaders. Jenieza has been a resident of Virginia Beach, VA for more than 20 years.
